Jonathan Lawes is a contemporary artist and designer based in south east London. He creates bold, geometric, vibrant abstract works that blend fine art and design. His layered shapes, intricate patterns, and rhythmic color-form interplay arise from a process-led screen-printing practice. A Leeds Arts University graduate in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design (2009), Lawes spent formative years in Berlin before returning to the UK. His work has been shown widely and partnered with brands including COS, Oliver Spencer, Joseph Joseph, and Gandia Blasco.
